I’m sharing tips and inspirations to nourish your body, stay strong, and live your life vibrantly, as you age.

I’m pretty sure that I’m not alone in my desire to manage holiday stress and stay healthy. Here are 5 tips to help you reduce supper time stress.

With cold weather sneaking in, warm comfort food meals are on the menu.

One of my family’s favourite comfort foods – lasagna – takes more time than I have on a weeknight.

So, to solve my time crunch, I created a simple skillet version of this cheesy comfort food that you can make it HALF the time of the oven-baked variety.

This is an easy, skillet lasagna that is perfect for weeknights since there’s no fussy layering of noodles and cheese. Just scatter noodles...

Take a box of greens. Add a box of grape tomatoes. Drizzle dressing. Add cheese and toasted bread crumbs. What could be simpler?

You know eating lots of veggies every day is important for optimal health.

What gets in the way?

If you just feel like you don't have a lot of time to prep veggies, you're not alone. Some people say veggies just don't taste great. Either sound like you?

If so, you need this salad. It's so quick to make and a great way to get nutrient-...

Busy weekdays with work deadlines and being mom’s Uber service for two teenagers can leave me feeling a little harried at mealtime.

Can you relate?

One way I manage stress is to keep my weeknights meals EASY, delicious and filled with basic foods that will leave me feeling fantabulous!

Enter the POWER BOWL.

This simple, create-your-own meal idea is super for families with different tastes. Lay out all the (mostly pre-prepped) ingredients and everyone can build...

Anyone out there remember GORP? Good ole raisins and peanuts? My sister insists is "Gobs" of raisins and peanuts but that just sounds weird.

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I’ve got a thing for energy bites.

I keep them in the fridge so I’ve got a quick, energizing snack ready to grab ‘n go when I’m on the run.

If you love peanut butter and crave healthy-ish snacks, this bite is for you. It’s filled with wholesome ingredients and the peanut b...

Do you love pumpkin pie?

How about overnight oats?

Then you'll love this super simple recipe for Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats.

It's a creamy, delicious and nourishing option for breakfast.

It gets two thumbs up from this dietitian: it's packed with protein and filled with fibre for long-lasting breakfast energy to power you through a busy morning. It's tasty on it's own, but also fantastic with blueberries and a nut-filled granola or muesli (for crunch!)

Make a do...

Have you ever had a salad that you just want to DEVOUR day after day?

This is one of those salads for me! It's kind of like a fresh spring roll but without the roll. The combo of crunch and all the flavours -- it's like a party in your mouth!!

This isn't your typical salad. There's no leafy greens in here (But you could add chopped romaine if you want. I won't stop you.)

It's a super summer salad for a potluck, picnic, patio party or packed lunch, because ther...

Stir-fries are one of those meals that I always have on my meal rotation. They are a simple way to get a whole lot of goodness onto your plate: thin pieces of protein (turkey in this case!) cook quickly and you can pile in all sorts of veggies. You'll definitley want to put this Turkey Stir-Fry with Spicy Peanut Sauce on your menu rotation.

Spring has FINALLY sprung and the first of local field produce in Ontario is here: asparagus! I seriously can't get enough.

Seriously, if breakfast looked this vibrant and delicious every day, you'd jump out of bed! That brilliant purple colour though!

Have you tried a smoothie bowl before? Basically, it's a really thick smoothie that you add toppings onto so that you can chew your breakfast instead of drink it.

Some folks prefer to chew than sip, so that's cool, but also, solid food (e.g. the nuts and seeds on top of the smoothie) can make you feel more satiated than a liquid. An...
