Garlic-y Grilled Turkey Skewers

I'm truly all about keeping meal planning easy -- life's complicated, dinner doesn't need to be!

For a quick summer meal, grilled kabobs are easy to make and fast to cook so you have more time for relaxing on the patio. Add them to a nourish bowl for a tasty easy meal.

My Garlic-y Grilled Turkey Kabobs are SUPER TASTY! They are marinated in a zesty, lemony, garlicy mixture that creates kabobs that will make you do a little happy dance!

Garlic-y Grilled Turkey Kabobs

1 boneless, skinless turkey breast (approximately 650 grams), cut into 1.5 inch cubes

¼ cup canola oil

¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 juicy lemon)

1 large clove garlic, minced

1 ½ tsp oregano

1 tsp pepper

¼ tsp chili flakes

6 skewers (depending on the size)

*If using wooden skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes before adding turkey.

1. Place the turkey in a shallow glass container. Add canola oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, pepper and chili flakes and mix with your hands until turkey is totally coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.

2. Preheat the grill to medium. Thread turkey onto skewers. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning the kabobs several times until turkey is cooked through and an instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the turkey registers 165°F.

Refrigerate extras for up to three days.
